Warning: this episode contains a pirate cat that no one can explain, a butterfly scene that lasts approximately forever, and Cookie Monster eating a car. Welcome to Hard to Watch!
Host Alex Parker sits down with actress, writer, director, and mom Colleen De Silva to put two 80s "kids' movies" on trial: The Last Unicorn (1982) and Sesame Street Presents: Follow That Bird (1985). Colleen watched both with her three-year-old, whose review of the soft-rock soundtrack was basically "Mama, this song will be over soon, right?" Honestly, same.
What we get into:
Colleen also shares what she's working on: her talk show Coffee with Colleen, a feature film in development, and her role in the short film Another Life.
Every episode, a guest picks a movie, Alex picks one to match, and together they figure out why they're hard to watch. Some episodes get heavy. This one gets a pirate cat.

Host Alex Parker sits down with guest Cory De Silva for the inaugural Hard to Watch as they dive into Julia Ducournau’s two most unhinged films — the cannibal coming-of-age nightmare Raw and the Palme d’Or-winning body-horror fever dream Titane. Expect unfiltered reactions, dark laughs, and the kind of conversation that happens when two people refuse to look away. This is Creators Co. TV’s first official trip into movies that hurt a little.
