Harim Won, Fellow at Vida Ventures, PhD Candidate at Harvard University, Brilliant Genius Extraordinaire,  joins us on this week’s episode to talk about choosing your mentors, falling in love, and overcoming the “what if's” in life. 

In this episode, we learned more about the research Harim has conducted with Tuberculosis as well as his efforts in Mycobacterial drug development. We also learned about his research with Covid-19, and how this virus not only affected his research, but also his personal life. Harim and his fiancée, Madalyn, had plans to get married, and he shared with us how they wouldn't let a pandemic deter them from their plans. He didn't let a global shutdown stop him from getting married, and this is just one of many examples of how Harim's amazing attitude kept him pursuing his goals regardless of the obstacles.
