Today we are chatting with Bec Conway
Bec Conway is a mindfulness facilitator, yoga teacher at the PCYC and community wellness curator, and works full time as a Project Officer in the Training Team at Essential Energy.
Through her business Luna Wellness, Bec designs and delivers immersive experiences that bring people back to themselves and each other. Her work spans Yin Yoga, mindfulness, nervous system regulation and restorative practices, with a strong focus on trauma-aware and emotionally safe spaces.
Bec creates retreats, mini-retreats and community events that showcase local businesses while offering meaningful moments of pause, connection and reset.
Alongside her wellness work, Bec plays a key role in workforce development at Essential Energy, where she supports large-scale training projects, coordination and delivery across the organisation. Working within a high-risk, operational environment has given her a deep understanding of performance under pressure, compliance, structure and safety — which directly informs her grounded, practical approach to wellbeing.
Bec bridges the worlds of corporate and community, structure and stillness. Whether she is supporting frontline workers through training or guiding people through breath and body awareness, her work is centred on resilience, clarity and human connection.

I have always been curious about what it means to lead a good life and know that mindfulness is vital to staying grounded and authentic to one's heart.
Unfortunately, I found it very hard to be consistent. The busier I got and the more I needed it, the less mindful I became.
Whilst I love going to a retreat and immersing myself in inner work, I needed something that would help my day-to-day and allow me to reflect on what is important without retreating from the world. And so, Your Mindful Year was born out of my selfish need.
