In this episode, we are reading Matthew 3:13-17; 4:1-11, Mark 1:9-15, Luke 3:21-23; 4:1-13, and John 1:29-34. Within these verses are the accounts of the events that took place during the baptism of Jesus Christ. As well as the encounter between the devil and Jesus in the wilderness. For such a short story, there's a message and a lesson to discover that can be told for a lifetime.

Verse of the Day:

Isaiah 61:3 - To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory.
