Welcome to The Safe Space!

In this reading, we journey through Matthew 23:1–39, Mark 12:38–44, and Luke 20:45–21:4. After silencing all opposition in the temple, Jesus delivers a powerful and final rebuke of the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees. With striking clarity, He exposes the deep hypocrisy woven into their daily lives—and the heavy burden it places on those who follow them.

As the moment reaches its emotional peak, the tone shifts. Jesus turns His gaze toward Jerusalem, not with anger, but with sorrow. He mourns for a people He has longed to gather and protect, yet who have rejected every prophet sent to them. In this lament, we hear a haunting foreshadowing of what is to come—the ultimate rejection that will lead to His own sacrifice.

Question of the Day:

Can you think of a wise person in your life who carries peace?
