Kids from the 12:10 have gone missing, and while Jack isn’t keen on joining any resistance, she isn’t about to let these kids disappear over the horizon.

While this news would be upsetting on a good day, these particular bodies are promised to the Church, and if Jack can't get a handle on this problem, they will.
