In this episode of Linking Together, we sit down with Tashonda, a representative of the Connecticut American Red Cross, to discuss the lifesaving impact of blood donation with a focus on black and brown communities. We also speak with community leaders Artie and Jeanna as we prepare for the collaborative Day of Service event with the Farmington Valley Chapter of Links Incorporated, the Greater Hartford Chapter of the Links Incorporated and the Greater Hartford Chapter of Jack and Jill of America Inc. Together they are hosting a community blood drive and food donation event at the YMCA on Albany Ave in Hartford
