Have you ever had a house guest that overstayed their welcome?  Maybe it was guests who didn’t have the best manners or respect for your household.  Maybe you had guests that were visiting for Thanksgiving and all you could think was “next time they are staying in a hotel!”  Jesus seemed like he was a guest coming into our world when in reality he was the owner.  He was patient, caring, honoring, and much more but was still hated and eventually killed.  God could have evicted us at any time but instead gives his one and only Son that we may receive an undeserved inheritance.
