“I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.”

John 4:35b

1: The Harvest may not be where you think it is

Now he had to go through Samaria. John 4:4

When a Samaritan woman came to draw water… John 4:7a

“…the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:14b

App: To all the different, lonely and broken, Jesus says, “Come.”

2: The harvest may not look like what you think it does

23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

John 4:23

-The Heart of Worship: the overflow of a greater work God does in us

-The Invitation of Worship: The gracious welcome to all who will come

-The Fire of Worship: The evidence of a changed life

3: The harvest may be bigger than you think it is

They said to the woman, “We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.”

John 4:42
