This is a story that transpired in Sialkot, Pakistan and hovers around Purnamal, Noona (Alternatively called Loona in Punjabi), Raja Salebhan and Queen Ichhra. This iconic story has been made more popular by Punjabi Poet Shiv Kumar Batalvi who wrote his epic "Loona" on it and was awarded the Sahitya Academy Award for it in 1967.
