Have you ever been told you are waaay to much?! Or maybe that you are not enough?

 

I was listening to an audiobook today and what the author was talking about reminded me so much of what it’s like building a biz on social media. Putting yourself out there to share your business, product, service etc. She said:

 

“we are expected to thread this impossible needle of being “just enough” for whoever is asking. A Goldilocks prototype who ALWAYS picks the right chair. We are expected to push the needle .... but not far. Challenge the status quo ... but not to dramatically. Lead in strength .. but not if it makes someone uncomfortable.” Jen Hatmaker

 

I mean ...... It is EXHAUSTING trying to please everyone. And when you stop trying to please everyone, you may still find yourself trying to attract anyone, & everyone to your business.

 

If you want to attract DREAM CUSTOMERS to your biz. Speak to ONE person ... not to many. You CAN’T be someone’s mocha, someone else’s Carmel macchiato, and everybody else’s flat white, and still show up in the world with your unique gifts, talents, and brilliance. Nor should you 😉.

 

Not everyone is going to resonate with you. And that is OK 👌! Unapologetically show up as YOU, and shine for that ones that do.
