This week on Mario`s Sunday Roast Tadgh Hickey from CCChoots joined the panel to discuss the British Establishment and a succession of governments that don`t acknowledge their history, more so their colonial history.

In 2017 there was a poll done to ascertain if the opinion of the British Empire was something to be proud of and 19% of people said it was something to be ashamed of. He feels like this is a clear portrayal that there is a lack of knowledge over what has actually happened.

Tadgh also sees this with Brexit and how he thinks it is a call back to Britain looking for the status of a great empire without really understanding its meaning.
