In Scripture, there are many frameworks, that is, the guidelines or foundations upon which to build our understanding of the topics within the Bible. The purpose of The Bible Framework is to present God's word within the context that the Bible provides for each subject. Topics such as creation, the image of God, covenants, Israel, Old Testament prophecy, the mystery of Jesus, the church, and the end times all must work within the framework of the Bible. The difficult part is keeping outside influences, such as modern science, doctrine, scholarship, and theologians, out of the framework that the Bible provides. When we build our understanding of Scripture on outside influences, we will have to alter or ignore the plain and natural reading of Scripture to fit what we want to believe. God's word is not meant to be confusing. The Bible Framework will present each subject within the Bible, letting the Bible tell its own story. Our goal is to keep the Bible within the Bible!
