Exposing the ways in which "hashtag" activism and liberal academia serve imperialism. During today's episode, we discuss the weaponization of empathy on social media with the use of hashtags that promote regime change. More specifically, we discuss the #MahsaAmini psy-op and the attempted Color Revolution in Iran. We also discuss how universities in the West serve as brainwashing camps for capitalism, pumping out academics who get paid to regurgitate imperialist propaganda with a liberal face. Lastly, we talk about why the Western left continues to blindly following the political cues of both corrupt institutions. Today's guests are Erica Caines and Chris Durán. Erica is a poet, writer, and organizer in Baltimore and the DMV area. She is an organizing committee member of the anti-war coalition, the Black Alliance for Peace as well as an outreach member of the Black-centered Ujima People’s Progress Party. Erica founded Liberation Through Reading in 2017 as a way to provide Black children with books that represent them. Chris is a student and community organizer working with Free 'em All New Jersey. He also works with several other campaigns to free U.S.-held political prisoners and prisoners of war.
