In this episode, we look at one of the most confronting but clarifying passages in the New Testament: Paul’s warning to Timothy that the “last days” — the time between Jesus’ victory at the cross and his return — will be brutal, deceptive, and distressing.

Why? Because evil is defeated, but it hasn’t stopped fighting.

We’ll explore why our culture’s obsession with self-love leaves us distorted, how love of money and pride twist our behaviour, and why family breakdowns and cultural chaos shouldn’t shock us. And we’ll talk honestly about the dangers inside the church — about counterfeit godliness, manipulation, and the harm done when appearance matters more than repentance.

But Paul doesn’t leave us anxious. He lifts our eyes to something stronger:
 the last days may be fierce, but for those who belong to Christ, they are ultimately harmless.
The war is already won.
The King is already risen.
And he will return.
