You know those passages we highlight, memorize, and come back to again and again. And then there are the ones we skip. The verses that confuse us, make us uncomfortable, or seem impossible to reconcile with the God we know.
When we come across a verse that doesn't seem to fit, it's important to remember what we already know to be true about God: He is good. Sometimes understanding a difficult passage begins not with having all the answers, but with holding firmly to that truth as we continue asking questions and seeking understanding.
