In honor of spooky season beginning & due to the recent loss of beloved Tim Curry on Aug. 25, we figured we’d bump our episode of Rocky Horror a little higher than anticipated in honor of one of our fave horror divas. May him & Dolly Parton both rest in peace as the world mourns the loss of two wonderful people, whose impact on the queer community and the world will never be forgotten.

By the time we’re recording this, we’ve also received news of the loss of the incredible fashion and costume designer: Bob Mackie. May these divas, and the ‘King of Glamour’ live on through their artistry- we’ve truly lost three incomparable, generational talents. 

With that being said, today we’ll be talking about the costume lore behind the 1975 cult classic: The Rocky Horror Picture Show!

We’re gathered here today to celebrate the death and rebirth of Lestat de Lioncourt as we wrap up our coverage of The Vampire Lestat. 

Again, shoutout to the incredible costume team for constructing & sourcing beautiful garments- keeping our immortals style evergreen (no pun intended).

To our fellow Loustater’s, we’re finally being fed but alas at what cost?? This beautiful couple is about to get the worst awakening of their immortal lives while wearing some of the most beautiful pieces this season.

Good news is: our speculations about where most wardrobe pieces were sourced were (mostly) right HOWEVER-
