There may have been times in my past where I've lost a deal because I was a jerk or inexperienced or not competitive enough - but I've never lost a deal because of my skin color as far as I know. If I have, I would have no idea of ever knowing and I really wouldn't give a crap either way. 

I guess I am a "minority" but I don't think of it that way at all. Business is about providing service and value and in my experience I've never dealt with anything negative because of my skin color.   

Maybe I'm "lucky" or maybe it's because I don't care about that stuff but regardless, I've always put service, value, and compassion first. And I would say the market is the same way.  

So if you're a minority business owner, I wouldn't be worried. And, if you ever have to deal with any of that, forget em'! They're a waste of your time.
