I’m so angry today because I know there is a big lie holding you back!
If you’re like most you’ve been told all your life YOU NEED CONNECTIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL!
It’s like the old saying “To the man with a hammer everything looks like a nail!”
Most of us believe this means meeting a rich or famous person.
Imagine for a second you meet one of the most powerful and influential figures you’ve ever seen. People are mesmerized by their presence. Just being around them is captivating and people hang on their every word, and you feel confident and get excited just being around this person.
It’s obvious this person can help you get ahead in life, right?
Just suppose you met a financial genius who could teach you everything about finance. It’s not an economic formula or stock statistic that gets by them. However, all you want to do is achieve enlightenment and become a spiritual teacher. You are not concerned about money or material things.
I think you’ll agree, while this person is successful they’re obviously not going to be much help to your cause.
Now you’re probably thinking “Well they could teach me about finance and help me fund my spiritual teachings”!
The problem is your philosophy on life is fundamentally different, and this would always create conflict.
Over time your beliefs about spirituality would get in the way of their belief in profit first, and vice versa.
There is only one solution to this.
You must get the RIGHT people for you to achieve your version of success.
Are you beginning to see why it’s ridiculous to believe your success is dependent on a specific person?
I want to invite you to notice how your success is more about how you leverage the relationships around you than making a specific connection.
This is why many times people don’t realize their friends without any accomplishments can be the piece they need to be successful.
Just suppose you met a friend at a summer camp when they were a nobody. This is easy to do. However, years later they get a position that get’s you next to an investor you needed to meet.
Do you see how you cultivated that connection?
As your mind responds to this information, you’ll begin to notice that you should focus on finding friends and influences that align with your goals.
