We all get scars in life. If the perfect Son of God suffered, why wouldn't we? We can choose what to do with the pain though. We can either use the pain to hurt others - unhealed wounders. Or we can walk through the hardships with Him and follow His example - wounded healers. 
He is with us as we go THROUGH the fire and waters. He comforts us and gives us peace in Him.
