Hey folks - this is my review of the horror game Mouthwashing. Up front - I gave the game a 5/10. By no means did I think this game was average. It had parts that I really enjoyed, and parts that I thought were miserable, which led to me balancing it out to a 5/10. I thought the art, the aesthetics, the mood and tension that were built were fantastic, and the initial half of the game provided an engaging plot. But the second half of the game, and the overall story, was entirely underwhelming for me. I understand this game resonated with a lot of people, and I'd be a fool not to acknowledge that - I can see how people could fall in love with a game like this. But I was really disappointed with the main twist of the story, and the last half of the game felt like an absolute slog to me. I hope my points make sense, whether or not you loved the game. Thanks for watching!
