Have you ever outstructured your magic? I believe in transforming out loud, so during this Transformational Storytime, I want to share a deep insight I gained from my recent event, Shift the Field Live. I had a strange experience during this virtual retreat regarding timing that revealed a truth that had been hidden from my view.
I have hosted over 100 retreats as a coach, and when you host one virtually, it can feel like a different animal. I had these rules in my head about timing for this event that I don’t necessarily have when it’s held in person. There were wires crossed among my team that put the timing off by about 12 minutes. It was something tiny but brought a funky energy that I didn’t like. Through my training, experience, and practice, I also knew that there was more to it and that something was being revealed.
While some rules and structures are great, they can also stifle your magic. That’s what happened to me. I learned enough to know that when life comes at you, it serves as your life coach.
I have spent the last few months on a project creating systems around timing and events. While reflecting on Shift the Field and the timing experience, I realized I haven’t been enjoying the process, and it has made me feel boxed in. Somewhere along the way, I got the idea that I had to have more structure to uplevel my business.
What I didn’t do was stop to tune into my soul and ask Source what my next right steps were. I outstructured my magic. It made me see that I was also outstucturing my magic in other places in my business leadership. So my question to you is - do you ever try to get the structure so right and perfect based on what THEY say should be done such that it shuts down your magic?
