Hi everyone and welcome! Another episode of the AGNCY #ATXCREATORSPODCAST
Today we talk about simple reminders like making sure you back up your work, as well as USER TESTING! User testing is when you A/B test different designs and styles for your website and social media profiles (at least that's how we're approaching it). You'll see a lot of companies like Facebook, Apple, and Google constantly testing different designs and processes.
Here's a strategy we use for user testing our landing pages and social media profiles:
1. Show someone that has never seen your website or social media profile for half a second, then quickly close out the page.
2. Next, ask if they can tell you what your business or company does, and how to get in touch next?
3. Ask yourself, upon a quick glance, can a potential customer or client tell exactly what your business does, and the next steps to take in order to contact you or make a purchase? This is something we see a lot in click funnels.
4. Utilize things like stories (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) and Fleets (Twitter) and Shorts (YouTube). Also, don't forget about Pinning popular posts and highlights on each social media platforms. This is popular on Pinterest guides, Twitter posts, and Facebook comments.
When user testing, think about where the users physical eyes are looking, and how are you leading their eyes to follow each piece of content to keep them engaged!
