As the days of 2022 are swiftly passing and the months are seemingly passing faster than ever, the first Wednesday of May is already upon us – where the showers of April has brought forth the blossoming flowers of May. We are prayerful that you are seeing GOD blossom something in your life as well. Because if you have been sowing in tears the last few months, know GOD has seen them and is capable of drying crying eyes and bringing forth blessings out of/from despair. Please be reminded we serve a GOD that is capable and able of doing all things – we serve a Holy and worthy GOD, worthy of all our Praises. AmenAs stated, the GOD we serve is HOLY, has always been, and will always be HOLY. Unlike man, (you and I), who is described by scripture as being like filthy rags. Our righteousness and holiness are bestowed on us by Almighty GOD. But even when we are deemed righteous and holy, HE is still working on us, progressing us, and we are striving not only to become better daily but to hold to the standard GOD has set before us. As stated, GOD is the ONE, based on HIS Word, that deems us holy and righteous; therefore, we can draw the conclusion that none of us has always been so righteous or holy. We all were someone and something else before GOD found, rescued, delivered, saved, redeemed, and deemed us HIS children. Amen. And for that we all should be glad, grateful, and thankful that GOD has shown each of so much grace and mercy – while waiting patiently for us to come out of our foolishness, sinful living, and being everything but what HE created us to be.In our message today we ask you to reflect on; where you were, who you were, what you were doing, how you were living, and what condition you were in when GOD found you. I know many Christians try to forget the condition they were in before CHRIST and attempt to make others believe they have always been the person GOD has created them to be and are today. To me that is so unfortunate – not only do you nullify your own testimony and witnessing, in addition you are nullifying the glory GOD can get from transforming/morphing you from a filthy rag into a towel that’s whiter than snow.Also, within that self- reflection we also ask you to look at young people today and see yourself – you were them not too long ago and remember the generation before us who attempted to beat and force feed religion to us only to cause some to rebel against JESUS. It was only in your own time and season when you opened your heart to HIM, not on someone else’s timetable. So often is the case today. We ask – have you become your grandparents or parents doing the very same things to your children now? Our message simple yet so profound – “You Haven’t Always Been That HOLY – Everyone Use To Be Something and Someone Else” asks you to glance back at who you were before you were saved and think about today’s young people, as well as, speaks on the before lives of some of the popular biblical figures in the bible. In closing, we ask that you take a minute, actually 27, to listen to the message and when you finish hearing we hope reflection will bring about change. Change in your approach, if you’re not Christlike, in bringing young people into the fold and bosom of CHRIST. We believe it will be through the CHRIST lived out through you that will draw others in – including your own/grown children. Live and love out your walk in front of them that they may see your light shining – “The Holy You”, and not the meanness, evilness and/or vile language from your lips – “The Other You”. Let your lips spew fresh waters of encouragement, inspiration, sound instruction and uplifting. “If I be lifted up I will draw all men” –lift HIM up in how you live and love in your daily life and others will come to CHRIST through you.
