In this episode of the Kingdom Come Podcast, Austin and Derrick sit down with an agnostic public school teacher, John. John claims to be open to the existence of God, but then debates that he has no need for God since according to his view, he is a morally good person.
This conversation walks through the moral argument for the existence of God, stating that if God is not real there is no objective moral values in the world. John also wrestles with "how can God be good when so many Christians have done horrible things?" Do the actions of people, reflect the God we serve? Thats what we are talking on this episode of the podcast.
This episode was done to hopefully give you the tools to know how to have a respectful conversation with non-believers in your life, to hopefully see them come to know Jesus.
By no means is this a perfect conversation. Looking back there were many things I wish I could have said, and things I wish were said more effectively.
This is the first of two parts. This one more so lays the ground work, and the second episode gets a bit more into the details. Hope you enjoy.
