In its letter in Revelation, the Church of Ephesus is warned of losing its first love. They are doing all the good things on the outside but they have lost their first love. They have lost their zeal for God. It seems this is how the majority of Christians are living in America today. We see the parallel in Jesus' teaching of the Parable of the Ten Virgins. How is our affection today for Jesus? How many people are going through the motions trying to blend in with the people who have oil? Do we have a longing zeal for the Bridegroom (Jesus) to come in the future and to come and dine with Him today? Listen to this sermon from in a standalone message from Pastor Brandon Sloan.
