If the point of paid time off and unplugging from work on the weekend is to rest, relax and recuperate, then why do we so often come back to everyday life more tired and less rested? Maybe there’s something wrong with how we think about rest and that simply taking a nap, unplugging from work or binge-watching Netflix isn’t all there is to rest.
