Haw River Cultural Divide sour kettled saison







This brewery is from Saxapahaw, North Carolina! IDK if I had a beer from that state. The beer is a “sour cherry turnover, kettle-soured saison,” which is basically short for a sour beer. The beer was not soured by bacteria, but by lactic acid, which is a much quicker method of making sour beers, resulting in less complexity.







This beer is made with carolina culture yogurt, lactose, montmorency/balaton cherries and tahitian vanilla beans – DAMN. It is a nice 6.2% abv brew.
