Hawks Head Coach Mike Budenholzer joined us for his weekly segment, On The Court With Coach Bud. Coach Bud talked about his charity and feeding the hungry through the food bank. Bud broke down what he does on during the trade deadline and gave all credit to Travis Schlenk for handling it. Mike mentioned the process that could have Belinelli traded before the day is over. Coach Bud explained how Dennis Schroder is growing and progressing in his position with the team and increasing his trust factor with teammates.

Bud told us that he has had more in game conversations with Dennis Schroder about the game and that has been one of the greatest growths for them both. Mike talked to us about how he thinks the trade deadline will be quiet today with not much happening. Coach Bud told John it’s not out of the realm of possibility for players to force teams to do what they want them to do but cautioned the organization still does what’s best for them.
