Atlanta Hawks Rookie John Collins joined Rick and John to talk the season, injuries and music. Rick quizzed John Collins on whether or not he completed his homework assignment and he told us he failed. John talked about meeting a young man named Adam who was recovering from Cancer at yesterday’s game and what that meant to John.

John talked about being matched up against Blake Griffin yesterday and how he has looked up to him growing up. John described some of the tactics Blake used to make his game better. John told us you can feel it on the court when the refs are calling it tight and disrupting the rhythm of the game and it can dictate how the game plays out. John expressed his excitement to play in the rising stars game during the NBA All Star weekend in L.A. John told us he is going to stay in L.A. for a few days to relax and enjoy the festivities. John mentioned he was a little disappointed not to be invited to the Dunk contest but hopes to partake in it down the road. John told us he wants Donavan Mitchell to win the Dunk contest during All Star Weekend. John told us he has sort of hit the rookie wall but has been able to adjust to and has passed it and gotten comfortable in the league.
