Drought conditions are hitting hard for livestock producers in the four states as emergency hay reserves are dwindling and precipitation continues to be in short supply.

Host Emily Zahurones welcomed Cooper Murray from Ava, Missouri to episode 10 of the Farm Talks Podcast. Cooper owns and operates Murray Custom Hay Works where he works alongside his dad. Cooper chats about what to expect from first cutting and for second cutting this season in terms of hay availability going forward.
