Hayom Yom 7 Adar 1 - A Jew must know that he is an agent of G-d

כָּל אִישׁ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל עָלָיו לָדַעַת, כִּי הוּא שְׁלִיחַ אֲדוֹן כֹּל

Every Jew must know that he is an agent of the Master of All,

לְמַעַן הָבִיא לַפּוֹעַל — בְּכָל מָקוֹם שֶׁהוּא — רְצוֹנוֹ יִתְבָּרֵךְ וְכַוָּנָתוֹ בִּבְרִיאַת הָעוֹלָם

[charged with the mission of] actualizing - wherever he may be -  G‑d’s will and intent in creating the world —

שֶׁהֵם לְהָאִיר אֶת הָעוֹלָם בְּאוֹר תּוֹרָה וַעֲבוֹדָה

to illuminate the world through the light of the Torah and Divine service.

וְהוּא עַל יְדֵי קִיּוּם מִצְוֹת מַעֲשִׂיּוֹת וְהַשְׁרָשַׁת מִדּוֹת טוֹבוֹת

This is achieved through the performance of practical mitzvos and by inculcating [in oneself] positive character traits.

Hayom Yom 7 Adar 2 - When walking the street think Torah

אַז מעֶן געֶהְט אִין גאַס דאַרְף מעֶן טְראַכְטעֶן דִּבְרֵי תוֹרָה

One ought to think about words of Torah when walking down the street, 

צִי אִין מַחֲשָׁבָה צִי אִין דִּבּוּר

either verbalizing them or not,

דאָס וועֶנְדט זִיך, צִי מעֶן מעֶג עַל פִּי דִין רֵיידעֶן דאָרְטעֶן דִּבְרֵי תוֹרָה

depending upon whether one is permitted to speak words of Torah in that place. 

אָבּעֶר אַז עֶר געֶהט אוּן אִיז נִיט פאַרְנוּמעֶן אִין דִּבְרֵי תּוֹרָה

When one walks down the street without being occupied with words of Torah,

זאָגְט אִים דעֶר שְׁטֵיין אוֹיף וועֶמעֶן עֶר טְרעֶט

the cobblestone on which he treads tells him:

בּוּלאַך (גּוֹלָם) וואָס טְרעֶטסְטוּ אוֹיף מִיר

“Blockhead, who are you to be treading on me? 

מִיט וואָס בִּיסְטוּ העֶכעֶר פאַר מִיר

What makes you better than me?”
