Dr. Kara Glover graduated from the illustrious Florida A&M University (FAMU) through their accelerated pharmacy program at the age of 24. Towards the end of her program, Dr. Glover realized that being a retail or hospital-based pharmacist was not something that she envisioned herself pursuing indefinitely. After many interviews, much networking, and overcoming Midyear (a clinical meeting and exhibition for PharmD students), Dr. Glover was offered a position as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Oncology Global Medical Information/Medical Strategy at AstraZeneca.
