HBL E19 Masterminds vs Courses vs One on One. What works best?

Listen Later

Sometimes when we are eager for more information or feeling a little lost, we find ourselves getting attracted to the shiny objects that come along.
Commonly in the entrepreneurial world, the shiny object is in the form of a course or the latest tech platform that you have no idea how to use. It is great to further educate yourself on new skills but most importantly, it’s important to know what the best way for you to learn is, so that you get value for your money and not just sign up and never go back.
Firstly, I like to work out if I would enjoy more of a group setting, one on one or even self paced environment.
If you love group learning-
Groups learning is such a great way to inspire, push and grow your skills, if done with the right group of people.
If this is the way you like to up skill then a mastermind, workshop or a hosted event would be perfect.
If you are looking at a mastermind format, make sure that the group and the other attendees are also aligned with the stage you are in your business as this will help you excel instead of becoming bored.
( Don’t forget my next mastermind is starting on the 21st of FEb. You can check out the details at bit.ly/Becircle)
If you like one on one-
Maybe you are at that point where finding some one on one support is what you need.
If you are looking for a coach or a mentor, make sure that you do a little bit of research first. This is when stalking is totally ok.
Check out their Facebook page, groups or even testimonials to see any key words or results that you might be looking for.
Also I highly recommend having a chat with them before you decide to go all in. This is crucial to ensure that you share similar core values when it comes to your business.
(If you are ready for some one on one mentoring for your business and wellness, make sure you check out more work with me page to see how I can assist)
Self Paced-
Self paced courses can be amazing, as you can really be a bit more flexible with your study.
My biggest tip with this is to ensure you have a method to keep motivated. Especially if the course has little to no involvement from the creator. There is nothing worse than paying a lot of money, falling behind, only to give up and no complete it in the end.
Plus, do yourself a favour and just do one course at a time. So many times I have seen gorgeous clients, over load themselves with too much. Anther course, another fancy platform to learn, even trying to launch too many things at once. It just doesn’t work and will end up it overwhelm and burnout.
So in summary:
Find the method that you learn best, the topics that can really help you in your business right now and just take on one thing at a time xx
