Running workshops and events can be an amazing way to connect with your clients on another level.
It allows you to reach a number of people instead of just on a one on one. Plus it’s a great way of being seen as the expert in your field. Only problem being, we often don’t feel confident enough to put ourselves up there.
Mainly because of the FEAR we may say something wrong or that no one will show up. You never know until you try though, right?
This week’s episode we are going to look at simple steps to plan and run a workshop or signature talk.
Simple steps like-
– Know what topic you will be doing the workshop on
– Create a signature talk so that you can use It for other events and workshops
– Find a location to run your workshop
– Make sure you have thought about things like food, parking, amenities and if the location fit into your branding
– Practise your talk, but don’t over do it!
Really it’s all just a learning experience. Every workshop you run will be giving you experience to help build your confidence for future events.
If you would like a little extra hand with setting up your workshop, I would love to assist. Just click here for a complimentary 15 min chat to find out how we can work together.
I also made mention in this episode about my virtual assistant team at Virtually Holistic VA Hub. Outsourcing can really help you take the overwhelm out of setting up and planning an event or even a launch. You can find out more about the hub by heading to virtuallyholistic.com.au
