Paul and Phil dive into Exodus 12 and the Passover — not just as a foreshadowing of Christ, but as a cosmic confrontation with the powers of darkness. The plagues weren't just against Pharaoh. God declared he would execute judgment against the gods of Egypt. That changes everything about how we read the story.

They trace this theme into the New Testament: why the rulers of darkness didn't understand what the cross would accomplish (1 Corinthians 2), how Jesus publicly humiliated the powers and principalities (Colossians 2), and why the Christian life is fundamentally a spiritual battle — one we can't fight alone.
