Some people have called it the Great Exodus of people from the church, but no matter how you see it, a LOT of people are leaving the church. The American church in many ways is in decline. How do we as pastors deal with the pain of our people leaving? How do we keep our hearts tender toward people, and our skin thick from criticism. How do we shepherd our own souls through these moments. How do we love new people knowing the risk of them possibly leaving. The temptation is to withhold love and relationship so we’re not hurt, but we must risk and relate in order to see the mission of Jesus go forward. Larry and Drew discuss all of these realities and the difficulty  in the middle of it.
