God Almighty, in all his power and glory, brings himself closer to us in order to hear our prayers for mercy. Why does he bend down? It’s not because God has hearing diffi culties. He does this to let us, his sons and daughters, know that he cares, is involved in our concerns, and is deeply committed to the relationship he has with each one of us.
