In episode two of our six-part series on hepatic encephalopathy (HE), Dr. Lisa Byers, a hospitalist and assistant professor in hospital medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center, is joined by Dr. Elliot Tapper, an associate professor in the division of gastroenterology and hepatology at University of Michigan, the director of the Michigan cirrhosis program and the editor in chief of Hepatology Communications. They discuss the changing epidemiology of cirrhosis and hepatic encephalopathy.
