1 John 4:10 "This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us."

His love comes first. We respond.

We could not make it to heaven,

So He came to us

to make a way for us to be with Him.

His love is not demanding, but rather compelling.

He invites us, welcomes us into His arms.

Love is:
Not us initiating

Not us achieving

Not us impressing 

Love is:

Him initiating

• From the beginning of the world, He’s had a plan - creation, fall, law, kings & prophets all pointing to the savior Jesus who came and is coming again.
• He reaches out to us first.

Him achieving

• His word does not return empty.
• He achieved perfection in life and perfection of sacrifice in death, and over achieved by resurrecting from death to life.

Him impressing us

• His holiness, beauty, glory.
• His love and compassion and graciousness.

May our hearts be filled to the measure with His love.

May our minds comprehend how vast His love is.

May our spirits rejoice in His perfect love.

He came to us who could not reach Him by our own actions.

He is coming again, are you waiting with anticipation?
