“For this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide even unto death.” — Psalm 48:14
Very few things in life last forever.
Cars break down. Homes need repairs. Jobs change. People grow older. Even the strongest things in this world eventually wear out. The longer we live, the more we realize how temporary so much of life can feel.
But Psalm 48 reminds us of something that stops us in our tracks: God is not like the things around us.
He does not wear out.
He does not fade.
He does not change.
