Week 2: Peace has Arrived!This Christmas we explore the astonishing reality that the eternal Son of God, “the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature” (Hebrews 1:3), made the choice to embrace human nature, becomes man, and live among us. But even more astonishing, Jesus didn’t just come to be born; he came to live, and give his life as a ransom for many. He came to save the world from sin and death, and his arrival swings the door wide open to a true and lasting hope—one that the world can’t snatch away. His arrival offers us a peace that stands firm and an eternal, indestructible joy. And because of Jesus’s arrival, we can be brought into his everlasting love.
