What were you like as a person before you trusted Jesus Christ?

I was a mess. I tried to be good, to be God's guy, but it never worked out.

As hard as I tried, I could never win the battle over sin. I was expecting God's punishment at any time.

But I received something much different salvation.

Certainly God had the right to hurl his anger toward me but that's not God. He is patient, and he was patient with me.

I bet your story is much the same.

No mater how far afield you got, God never gave up on you.

He stuck with you through thick and thin.

And then one day, his love became real in your heart. And his patience toward you meant your salvation.
