"I thought you said your dog did not bite?"
"That is not my dog."
- The Pink Panther (1976)
Dogs, Canis familiaris in Latin, are man's best friend. Kids the world over desire a puppy and constant companion. Families get dogs for a variety of reasons, for work around the farm, for showing, for guarding their property or other animals, to keep them company, or just to be the family pet. But what happens if your dog is not trained properly, or at all?
In this episode we explore our journey of how to train your dog (kinda like a dragon, but cuter). We delve into some of the signs that let us know our dog is needing some training, what you can expect, how training your dog can significantly improve the relationship you have with your lovable pet, which traits we think are cute but are actually your dog trying to assert dominance over you, the order of the pack and how that manifests itself in your dogs personality, and much, much more.
Training your dog is hard work. Persistent work. But worth it. We hope you'll enjoy listening in as we delve into a topic that affects so many of us. And we hope you'll learn something new along the way as well.
