We have all stumbled and failed the Lord, just as Peter did.  God wants us to understand, take heart and KNOW that He is the one who restores our lives, no matter what we face.  God’s grace is abundant and His love for us is so strong that He not only leads us to palces and times of quiet and rest, but He also then renews our soul. 

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.  1 Peter 5:10
