Hey! We’re back! Just like we are every Tuesday. It’s nice to have people in your life that are so reliable, right?

Okay, Dreia is up first this week and she’s got a pretty rough story that happened just a few months ago – in December 2019. Let’s take a trip to the Philippines and meet a young man named Lloyd Bagtong. In this story, Bagtong is not a hero. In fact, he’s pretty terrible and murders a young woman because he claims he was irritated by her speaking English. It’s not an excuse and we’re not cool with it.

Maggie is next up and she’s got a story of how a blog post helped solve a murder. In 2005, Simon Ng and his sister Sharon were murdered by Sharon’s ex-boyfriend. Simon had been home writing in his blog when his murderer showed up and started to rummage through the apartment Simon shared with his sister. Simon’s last blog post lead the police straight to the killer and they were able to get justice for both Simon and Sharon.
