We live in a world where due to the brokenness of humanity, we experience hurt and pain that can feel unbearable. It can make us feel alone. Misunderstood. Trapped, as though no one understands. That may be true in some cases, but what’s also true is that Jesus understands you in your pain.

He knows what it’s like to go through anguish and still keep pressing forward. To have good motives and be assumed to be the bad guy. He has felt the discomfort of saying yes to God though it cost Him His comfort. In a world where we may sometimes feel alone, may we never forget that we have a faithful friend named Jesus.
