Today as we finish Zechariah chapter 4:8-14 we see God's promise to  Zerubbabel to finish the work in building the Temple. As he was the one  who completed the foundation it was necessary that he continue on to the  completion of the work, and this testifies to us in our modern day as  understanding that there was no mistake in God's choosing us unto  salvation! Each of us has a purpose given by God and the tools necessary  to do the work the LORD has planned for us. We must be about our  Father's business, just like our Lord Jesus said! Our strength comes  from the LORD, the maker of heaven and earth, as David said.
