Isaiah 40:29-31 reminds us that God "gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might he increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint." Do you feel like you're going to spiritually crash and burn? The word "wait" here in this scripture means to intertwine oneself by twisting, not just waiting by passing time. You and I are to be interwoven with Christ, with His heart, with His thoughts. When He sits on the throne of our hearts, He will empower us through His victory on Calvary to go from strength to strength. Now, no matter what it looks like, remember above all, He will not fail you. It's time to pray.
