The coronavirus outbreak has been labelled a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO).
WHO chief Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said the number of cases outside China had increased 13-fold in two weeks. He said he was "deeply concerned" by "alarming levels of inaction".
A pandemic is a disease that is spreading in multiple countries around the world.
The rate at which the numbers of victims are increasing is alarming. It is no longer safe to hangout with friends and family. Social media is literally all we have at this point.
There is currently no vaccine to prevent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet).
Older adults and people who have severe underlying chronic medical conditions like heart or lung disease or diabetes seem to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 illness. Please consult with your health care provider about additional steps you may be able to take to protect yourself.

Stay home if you’re sick
Cover coughs and sneezes
Wear a facemask if you are sick
